Methodia, Inc. gave the children from Social care home “Olga Skobeleva” in Plovdiv new more powerful computers and many surprises for the Children’s Day June 1, 2012

 

The event was part of corporate initiative Methodia Heart which supports various Bulgarian social care homes in a long distance.

 

Employees of the company bought essential supplies for 100 children in the home with their own funds and donations of company`s partners – sports shoes, bags, clothes, books for the library, pots of flowers to decorate the interior of the building.

 

 

“We thank the staff of the Methodia, Inc. that draws attention to the children in our city,” said Mr. George Tityukov – Deputy Mayor of “Sports, Youth Activities and Social Policy” in Plovdiv who opened the festival for the child`s day.

 

Managing partner of Methodia, Inc. Mr. Ivaylo Stefanov gave the director of the home Ms. Stoyanova Stamena diploma by which the social institution officially became part of the initiative Methodia Heart.

 

 

Children’s Day passed with sports contests, demonstrations of aikido techniques, musical performances and a huge cake for June 1. Children together with people from Methodia drew a huge 50-foot picture of their dreams stamped with colored prints of their hands.
