How to join
As a voluntary initiative, the Global Compact seeks wide participation from a diverse group of businesses and other organizations.
To participate in the Global Compact, your company/organization:

Step 1: Reviews the Online Application Guideline:
For Business Organizations: Online Application Guideline;
For Non-Business Organizations: Online Application Guideline.

Step 2: Prepares a Letter of Commitment signed by the chief executive to the Secretary-General of the United Nations expressing commitment to (i) the UN Global Compact and its ten principles; (ii) engagement in partnerships to advance broad UN goals; and (iii) the annual submission of a Communication on Progress (COP).
Unlike business participants, non-business organizations are not required to develop and submit a Communication on Progress – though organizations may do so if they wish.

The Letter of Commitment is printed on official company/organization letterhead and must be signed by the highest executive in the company/organization.

Step 3: Completes the online application at http://www.unglobalcompact.org.

And uploads a digital copy of the Letter of Commitment signed by the highest executive. The name of the chief executive who signed the Letter of Commitment must correspond with the entry in the online registration form.

Step 4: Sends the signed Letter of Commitment to the Bulgarian Secretariat of the Global Compact by mail at secretariat@unglobalcompact.bg.

The name as well as the web site of your organization/company will be published on the local as well on the global web site of the Global Compact www.unglobalcompact.bg and www.globalcompact.org .
