Business leaders are the European Commission’s partners for improving the youth unemployment in Europe

12375145_1163539550327750_6717152925363352959_oThe Bulgarian network of the United Nations Global Compact is the first Bulgarian organization which has signed the European Pact 4 Youth that was announced during the European forum Enterprise 2020. With it the Commission and the European business leaders commit to work for a lasting partnership between business and the educational institutions. The main goal of the participants is to help improving the job opportunities for young people.
The Pact is an initiative of CSR Europe and it calls for all companies, social partners offering educational services and other stakeholders to create and consolidate partnerships in support of the youth inclusion and employment.

 

The goals of the Pact are:

  1. The creation of 10,000 quality business-education partnership
  2. At least 100,000 new good quality apprenticeships, traineeships or entry-level jobs
